When I was Young 241/365

I wanted to be a cowgirl, maybe an Indian. My mom and dad watched Rawhide, Wagon Train, Gunsmoke, High Chaparral, Wild Wild West, Daniel Boone on TV. They took me to see The Cowboys, Cheyenne Autumn, A Man Called Horse, True Grit, The Alamo and many other movies both at a drive in and at regular theaters. I guess that helped my obsession with the West get a grip in my soul. Still love it. Have you seen my house LOL!

Territory Days helps feed my need.

They have real dancing Native Americans and pretend dress up cowboys.
Here's me and John Wayne, The Duke, my mom's hero....

Being Silly atTerritory Days

!

What's Territory Days without some good photo ops? Unforetunately the rain cut our visit short so I didn't get any pics of the re-enactors this year. If we go tomorrow I will. PS that's Mike snoozing there by Cheryl. Can you tell he was less than enthused to be there? LOL!
