I am smiling because I am not at this school auditorium for my own children- I am here for my grandchild. That means I am not responsible for getting her up and ready everyday or helping with homework. Yay!

Accomplishing a Mission 357/365

As I approach the end of my 365 challenge I am pleased to announce I accomplished my first attempt at the Student of the Month bulletin board at Wasson HS. I took the pics yesterday, sent the print order to Walgreens and made the pages last night. I called a cab to go to the school  coz it was so windy and I had a lot to carry. I have decided not to stress about using taxis...it's still way way less than a car payment.

I was not aware that Wasson had East Indian students but a group of them ended up helping me with my project. i wish I had gotten their names DUH!

Grandparents Day at St Malachy's 312/365

Nothing can stir your soul like be honored by kindergartners! We were sung to and treated to lunch. Mmmmmmmmmmmm Turkey Surprise!!!

New Dress New Purse Total Cost $6 275/365

Cheap! I am cheap/thrifty/tight/careful with my money. I got a dress with the Kmart tags still on it for $5 Saturday at the Arc and a spiffy almost brand new purse for $1 at the Goodwill Outlet yesterday. Happy happy joy joy!

We got Dakota registered for school. It was almost an ordeal, standing in line, teenagers everywhere *shudder*
