Yeah, you heard me right LOL! I got wind of Videoknitter's latest yarn bomb and decided to go check it out. Turns out it was part of a festival downtown called the What If Festival. Lot's of kids, families and cool stuff.

Passive Participation in Yarn Bomb/KIP Day 153/365

Stupid me didn't check in with Ravelry as soon as I should have to play a bigger role in International Yarn Bomb Day which coincided with National Knit in Public Day. I did however show up in time to catch some of the fun. My name was not included on this banner piece because I was a slacker.

Miss Videoknitter can you please tell me who this lovely lady is so we can plan some super yarn bombs? I heard her talking to the reporter and I think we are kindred spirits. BTW I fixed the stop sign yarn bomb ...the video tape cozie had slipped down so I shoved it back in place. It still looks awesome.

No, I didn't KNIT in public...I crocheted in Public along with some other gals. It's all good the yarn was flashed and a good time was had by all.

My First Yarn Bomb!!!! 60/365

My new hero, VideoKnitter, took me along on a yarn bomb today...too much fun.

First gather your supplies. In my case it was swatches and UFO's. Tape measure, scissors, yarn needle, water, Fiber One Bar, camera, CHECK!

I had a book from the library about doing this covert yarn bombing activity. Imagine my surprise when I saw this on the stop sign a block from my house. Darn it I wanna do this!!!! I have to see if I can check that book out and recruit Leslie to help lol.
