100 Days of Doilies Day 28

I remember getting this pattern book from the Watseka Walmart. Had to be early to mid 1990s.

This is one of a pair I made for my mom for her bed. She sewed them onto pillow covers. She used them in Rossville IL, Dandridge and Gatlinburg TN and Chicago. You will see another one in a darker shade sometime down the line.

100 Days of Doilies Day 15

Wow, Blast from the Past! I made this sometime in the 90s out on the farm in Cissna Park, Il. I got the dark blue thread in Rankin from someone's mother's estate. I think I got the pattern in a magazine from the Paxton Library. Wow...long time ago.

This lives on my daughter's dresser.

Stop and Smell the Flowers 306/365

About two years ago I published a similar picture of my mom smelling the sweet peas. Bitter Sweet memories.
