Hard Pressed and Totally Blank

Wow it's hard to get back into the swing of blogging. So so very sorry about that.

I'm currently cutting crazy quilt fabric in between my office job and working on a duplicate of the keepsake memorial quilt for a lady here in town. I feel like my pictures are boring but I'll add them anyway.

I have so many!!! Right now I like my tights and boots with my tunic over a top my mom bought me a long time ago. 

But my all time favorite is my Steampunk Crazy Quilt Skirt. Love love love.

Sorry about the delay in posting. The sickness I drug home from Chicago decided to revisit me and I've been kind of useless.
I bought some altered art supplies at Michael's yesterday and a Cloth Paper Scissors magazine. The mag had some websites to help you beef up your pics listed. here's what I did with one.

That's my new Steampunk skirt from ChicStar. I love it! I will be buying more from this awesome site.

A New Business?

So I have been thinking about doing some Old Time Photography with props n stuff (Heavy on the Steampunk of course) I have been busy gathering goodies for people to wear, props to hold, scouring ebay for photography items, talking with people who actually do this sort of stuff. I think it would be fun and I wouldn't charge an arm and a leg like the tourist traps do.

Can those things go together? Short answer...YES! Missile Mountain Roller Derby put on a Steampunk Party and Cheryl and I went. I dressed her in my blue skirt and even let her wear my fancy belt. What are friends for?

This time it was Founder's day in Old Colorado City. Yippppeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! I hung out with a saloon girl...good cop bad cop kinda thing lol. I also went to a needlework store and was right next to a bead store and refrained from buying. Go me.

Leslie asked me to go to the Pioneer Museum. I grabbed my trusty magic carpet bag full of steampunk goodies and said..."Let's go!" Changed in the restroom and went off in search of photo ops (coz you know I would never pass one up). The hard part was that no flash photography allowed. I somehow missed that little rule last time I was there....my bad.
