Mikey bloomed orange. I would say Go Illini but he lives near Clemson so I am bowing to their orangeness today.
There's a plethora of orange in my yard this year.

Quick Knit Hat and a New Model 165/365
My sister told me that Hobby Lobby had Styrofoam heads now. I forgot my 40 % off coupon so I had to spring for a damaged one on clearance. I think a hot knife will transform him into He That Shall Not Be Named quite nicely.
Needed a quick knit after working with sock yarn for so long.

Embroidering the Ugy Brown So-Called Afghan 164/365
I inherited this blanket from someone who pretends to be knitter but gives up before actually finishing stuff. I thought it need some blue flowers to set if off. When it's done I will donate it to videoknitter for a tree yarn bomb somewhere.

Bo Bice (What Might Have Been) 159/365
Travel back with me to time not so long ago but very far away, 2005. A year of changes. In January I almost died. In April I took a trip that ultimately resulted in my moving to Colorado. The year of Hurricanes, most notably Katrina.
The first year I watched American Idol. I did not want Carrie Underwood to win. I wanted Bo Bice to win. He did not. She did.
Today by chance I heard the Bo Bice would be playing at Spring Spree at 3 PM. I begged Jack for a ride and got there in the nick of time. My old PTA president was there by herself too....perfect.
Bo Bice was good. Right up till the end when he said he was happy to have been in Denver LOL!
This is the equivalent of clapping in camfrog, a thumbs up.

My Design...Sort of the Same Socks 158/365
I used stash yarns for these Sort of the Same Socks. The design is the same, the color shifts in the yarns is not. Who looks under your pants and in your shoes to see your socks to care?
Slogging along trying to get back in stash busting mode.

Killer Alien Rabbit Shadow 157/365
So I made a challenge to two of my old yahoo buddies who are, of course, now on facebook. The challenge is to take strange pictures about town with extra points if you are in them. To test my mobile upload abilities I ran out and took a picture of my foot with my phone and behold the Alien Killer Rabbit shadow .............PERFECT!

Clematis 156/365
My sister has this same clematis down in Tennessee only she thought it was a weed and tore out most of the vine. Duh. Here's the pic she sent me thinking it was a vinca bloom.
Ok maybe they aren't the same, just similar. I can live with that.

Passive Participation in Yarn Bomb/KIP Day 153/365
Stupid me didn't check in with Ravelry as soon as I should have to play a bigger role in International Yarn Bomb Day which coincided with National Knit in Public Day. I did however show up in time to catch some of the fun. My name was not included on this banner piece because I was a slacker.
Miss Videoknitter can you please tell me who this lovely lady is so we can plan some super yarn bombs? I heard her talking to the reporter and I think we are kindred spirits. BTW I fixed the stop sign yarn bomb ...the video tape cozie had slipped down so I shoved it back in place. It still looks awesome.

These looked so real!
Sorry this shot is so lame....
This is what it looked like when they were done.
No, I didn't KNIT in public...I crocheted in Public along with some other gals. It's all good the yarn was flashed and a good time was had by all.

Beating the Odds 152/365
I figure I can pay big bucks ($29.99!) for these hanging baskets and hope the bugs, hail, wind, cold, heat, and/or lax watering habits don't kill them:
Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I can spend $15 at the dollar store for fake flowers and put them in a free hanging thingy from the neighbor. Works for me!

Sock Yarn Art Scarf 151/365
In another valiant attempt to use up a portion of my sock yarn stash I made this really cool scarf. It could theoretically be the start of a baby blanket but I'm not that ambitious at present. I used a multitude of colors of sock yarn and THIS BLOG to make the scarf.
I'm too sexy for my scarf, too sexy for my scarfffffffffffffff!

Mini Stonehenge for Brian 150/365
My son-in-law, Brian, remarked that one of my dish gardens looked like the start of a Stonehenge. I put this together for him. Note to self...use E6000 next time and not Gorilla Glue...it runs too fast.
