I belong to a group on Ravelry who knit obscure patterns....These Swirling Gauntlets were only marginally obscure but I wanted to make them anyway. I used a stash yarn in 100% wool. I cast them on DPNs first and got clear up to row 13 of the cables when I let about 8 stitches get off the needle and couldn't get them back...bad feeling! Ripped it all out and started again knitting flat. That went quickly until I noticed again around row 13 that I had crossed a cable the wrong way around row 6....hmmmmmmm......should I cave in and give up? NO!!!!!!!! I ripped back to the ribbing and started yet again...this time I conquered and behold....my Swirling Gauntlet Mitts. I kinda like them. I'll be doing the Tantric Puzzle Top next.

Those things are cool as heck! And good job on not giving up.
Beautious, Can't wait to see them in the flesh, so to speak
