My illness drug on a lot longer than I had hoped and now I can't get my internet to work at home so I am posting this from work. If it's not one thing it's ten others so stay tuned for more fun later kids.

How I just spent my four day Vacation

I got a forced vacation in that I have been sick. Ain't even left the house except to run to CVS for meds and tissues one time. Drinking plenty of fluids, bed rest (sorta), feeding my face (Whole bag of Dove white chocolates, lentils with ham, grapes, toast with no jam), have a bit of a fever with chills/sweats, knitting, crocheting, audio books, youtubes, podcasts, research, cooking, cleaning, sore throat, coughing, runny runny nose. Joyous silence since I explained to housemate about the slamming doors pushing me towards a nervous breakdown. I even had a friend send me a can of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup lol.

I'm going to try to get to work tomorrow even if I have to call a cab to take me down to catch the bus. One can only stand so much fun after all.

First time I have been sick like this in years.

Me No Feel Good 326/365

I have been battling environmental allergies ever since I got back to Colorado.Me no feel good. My eyes are  super puffy. I hate that.

Puny 211/365

I felt bad today. Fever blister on my top lip, vague uneasiness everywhere else. I am sure the weather didn't help. Cold, periods of sleet/snow/ice/rain. Depressing to say the least.

Tomorrow is another day.

On another note...did ya'll look up there^ ? I have added some "Pages" with pictures of my art over the past couple of years. And over there > ? I added the new Blog badge for May "Looking Up" and I started a list for my recently read books. Just thought I'd share.

Sunshine Therapy 101/365

How to make yourself feel better when you are sick with a dang earache/cold/what-the-hell-ever-else I have....Go sit in the sun and knit!

Vera brought me some Tei-Fu oil for my ailments. I don't know if it worked or the massive dose of ibuprofen but I am feeling marginally better. I know the sunshine definitely helped my mood if not my immune system.

60's today and hopefully tomorrow. I want to go downtown on the bus to take care of business. So looking forward to getting back into my old routines.

So I was Miss Social Butterfly all weekend and guess what...I caught a cold and/or the flu. I'm hoping for just a cold but only time will tell.

The good news is my dishcloth wedding shower gift was a hit!
