The Tattoo 208/365
Although I am determined to be the last person standing in the United States (and quite possibly the world) to NOT have a tattoo, I do enjoy a good fake one now and then. Couldn't resist the sparkly spider at PTA conference.

Rebecca, P.I. 207/365
Yep...give me a reason and I'll track the info down. Seems Miss Marena is indeed married and guess who signed as witnesses? Mommy Kim and Grandma Paaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttyyyyyyyyyyy. Uh huh....wonder which one of the three forged Jack's name on the marriage application? They wouldn't release that info to me but for $2.50 Jack can have it mailed here to the house. I also got Mommy's paperwork on her two drug charges. Cost me $16.50 to print it all out geeeeesh.

Ben....Then and Now 206/365
I ride the train a lot. On one of my trips back east I met a young man with a guitar. Turns out he was/is also from Colorado Springs. I carried the pictures I took of him in my purse for a year hoping to give them to him. I never saw him again until last week. Yay! Now I have to find those pics again and see if I can finally pass them on to him.
Ben Before
Ben Now
This pic is from that same trip. Me and Sue jamming. It was a magical music kind of trip for me.

Faux Snow and Real Snow 205/365
I saw this awesome science program at PTA Conference. The lady had a faux snow that reconstituted in your hands when she added water. It was way cool. Not cool was the snow I woke to yet again today. Sick and tired of it I say!

Surviving PTA Conference 204/365
I was gone this weekend. Did you miss me? Probably not since I used the auto-post thingy. Anyways........ You may or may not know that in January I volunteered to be Secretary of Wasson HS PTA. This past weekend the Treasurer and I went to Colorado PTA State Convention up in Denver. Anybody watch the weather Friday? OMG! Can you say SPRING BLIZZARD!?!
We actually hit a chunk of ice and spun off the road a little past Monument hill before Castle Rock. Hold on Newt she's headed for the barn!!!! But since the air bags didn't deploy and we didn't actually hit the concrete barrier or metal guard rail and we had front wheel drive we just took a deep breathe and drove out of the ditch and on to Denver. (I didn't even pee my pants...two points for me!)
My room....wish Sharie coulda been there with me :(
More later.....

The Bean 199/365
If you go to Chicago make time to visit Millennium Park and see "the Bean". Its true name is Cloud Gate and it was sculpted by Anish Kapoor (2004) The pics of me are reflections off the surface. Too cool!

A Blurry Gym Shot 198/365
Sorry about the blur. I tried twice to get a shot of myself and this is as good as it got. At least I had a workout partner today.

Hahahaha Take my Picture QUICK! 197/365
Oh I HAVE to throw this in...Dakota got a letter back from Mommy Kim. She said "Shame on your dad for letting you spend so much time with Dalton and Jennifer" and "Larey said he heard someone saw your dad and Becky down at the soup kitchen with all their pots and pans and sleeping bags on their backs" Uh...OK LOL! This is from the woman in prison for manufacturing meth, shop lifting, driving on suspended license, no insurance, and possession (6 times). She never called Dakota when she was on work release, never came by and didn't write him until he wrote her but we are the wackos. UGH!

Mueller State Park or just another day in Paradise 196/365
Oy I went swimming last night and forgot about my ear problems. I woke up with water in my ear that won't come out. Jack suggested a ride in the mountains to try to pop my ears and dislodge the wet stuff. Good idea, too bad it didn't work. We did get to tour Mueller State Park a bit and of course Cripple Creek and Victor are always fun even if you don't gamble or pan for gold.

Palmer Park with Sharie 195/365
After we pigged out at Red Hot and Blue I took Sharie to Palmer Park. Amazing as always. Too bad she didn't have her hiking shoes on.
I never get tired of this mountain!

A Close Close Call 188/365
I almost didn't make my post today. My monitor had been trying to go out for about three weeks. Today it succeeded. PANIC! When Jack got home we went out for supper and then shopped for a new one. I can now shoot chickens in space in style.
I sprung for a new keyboard and mouse also. My old keyboard was full of food crumbs, jewelry findings and beads.
