Godsmack Keep Away yeah I know but I did it anyway 170/365

I just can't seem to get back into the whole blog everyday thing but I'm gonna try harder.

Here's a little ditty i did tonight. The trouble with being an artist is that you tend to get bored with things. I am breaking up my boredom with music for now.

Where the Guitar Lives 52/365

My guitar stays right here beside my desk where I can reach it. I learned a long time ago if it is put up in the case I won't remember to play it. This way I can play several times a day. Notice the lovely box of yarn propping it up and a bag of sock yarn behind it and  a paper bag full of completed items beside it. I hope my guitar isn't allergic to wool.

Guitar at Sharie's 315/365

The computer here at Deanna's house is in her bedroom. Last night she went to bed before I remembered that I didn't post. This makes me think maybe I really do need a laptop. However, that would be just one more thing to carry.

I booked my flight home finally. I leave from Midway in Chicago next Tuesday and after a transfer in Denver come right in to Co Springs just in time for Jack to pick me up after work. It was driving people insane that I had no definite plans on the return thing lol.

Here I am playing guitar for Sharie's grandkids Saturday evening.

This is the whole crew...six grandkids and an extra child thrown in for good measure

Jamming at Frogfest 2010 311/365

I learned to play guitar alone, sitting upstairs on my bed. it took me YEARS to be able to sing for anyone. This marks a milestone for me. I actually WANTED to get on stage and play for an audience. Not only the people in the room but a live broadcast available worldwide on blogtv.com. I had a blast! This is me and Josh doing Kryptonite.

Ben Again 300/365

I grabbed a coffee at Starbucks this week while downtown and guess who was busy busking* outside? Ben! I got a short video and a picture of me mooning over him. Oh my the guy I got to take my pic told me I was vain for posting a picture of myself everyday on here but i told  him it was just a challenge...dork!

* Busking is the practice of performing in public places for tips and gratuities. People engaging in this practice are called buskers. Buskers may also be known as street performers, street musicians, minstrels or troubadours.

Shadow Dance 115/365

I spent the day shuffling paperwork, trying, (I said TRYING!!!) to organize this studio, doing laundry again, sewing CQ blocks, finishing more Anti valentines, playing my guitar for my camfrog friends, burning supper and playing around on facebook putting up fake pictures of my friends and family. SO PRODUCTIVE!!!

So I have no new picture of myself to post. Good thing I have about a million stashed back for just this occasion.

Day # 7/365 Me and my Guitar

If I'm not knitting, sewing, studying, reading or cooking I am usually right here in front of the computer with my guitar.

Today started off quite frosty...snow and fog till noonish then it cleared and became partly sunny and we had to roll the windows down on our trip about town.

Leslie brought me a huge bag of GORGEOUS fabrics. I can't wait till I get them sorted and am able to sew up a sage green and ecru crazy quilt followed by a purple, reddish, gold, yummy regal one!
