Where the Guitar Lives 52/365

My guitar stays right here beside my desk where I can reach it. I learned a long time ago if it is put up in the case I won't remember to play it. This way I can play several times a day. Notice the lovely box of yarn propping it up and a bag of sock yarn behind it and  a paper bag full of completed items beside it. I hope my guitar isn't allergic to wool.

Remember the part in the Wizard of Oz when Dorothy and her friends can see the Emerald City past a meadow and the Wicked Witch of the West puts a spell on the flowers saying "Poppies, to make you sleep"? I used to say that to my kids every year when the poppies bloomed on the farm. Sis, this is for you.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to take pictures of yourself with bright orange flowers with bees on them?

Ask my kids about that title...it was a common joke in our farmhouse while they were growing up. Well today I worked my hiney off helping my friend Vickie get ready for a garage sale. They have some GOOD stuff! I can't afford it so I took pictures LOL!

I'm Back and I have a new Plan

I've been looking at some other blogs n stuff and I have decided I want to challenge myself to post (almost) everyday and do one of those 365 pictures thingys. Mine will be the self portrait thing...for good or for bad.

Whoa do I really mean that? I mean what if I get up late and feel bad and my hair is all funky and my pants don't fit right because I ate too much salt? Wow a lot of things could go wrong with this!

The good part could be that I could use this as a way to promote my knitting and my music and my crazy quilts even.
