Monkey See Monkey Do or How I Trained my Grandkids to Art

I apologize ahead of time for the quality of these pictures. I need a new camera (hint hint).

The past couple of weeks I have had the pleasure to teach my Granddaughters the fine art of mixed media journaling. They picked it up really quickly although they all had different learning styles. The youngest watched me and copied my movements like a pro. Gramma is so proud. I even convinced them it is okay to be a little weird.

I am making an art kit to take with me when I babysit Gabe's girls later this month. We made the girls each a journal when they spent the night this week. FUN FUN!!!

Season of the Selfie Day 10 Guess why I am Smiling

I am smiling because I am not at this school auditorium for my own children- I am here for my grandchild. That means I am not responsible for getting her up and ready everyday or helping with homework. Yay!

100 Days of Doilies Day 62

Yep another feather and fern/cluster stitch doily. This one was for Emmy when she had my first ever grand-baby, Miss Jaelynn. It sits under a plant and it looks lovely there.

Fearless in Indiana (and everywhere else too) 314/365

When I go back to Colorado I will try not to worry about Grandchild #7, aka miss Fearless. We took a day trip over to Franklin Co Indiana where we used to live. Sadie loved all creatures great and small and would gladly  have gone over the side of the mountain to see what she could see if we had let her.

Yay it's a BABY Finally!

Sadie Jane finally blessed us with her presence at 7:40PM CST tonight. They had to do a c-section coz the little porker weighed 9 lbs 5 oz and was 22" long and mommy wouldn't dilate enough to let her out. My oldest son and his wife, Brian's mom and dad, my ex and his new love and big sister Zabrina were all at the hospital waiting and waiting. Grandma Becky is exhausted!

I'll be posting some funny video of Deanna denying she is in labor soon LOL!

This is Gabe's youngest...does she look like me too? Hahahahaha!

Still no baby. I changed my train ticket to next week. Jack says it has been raining so my plants all look good so I guess I'll be home when I get there, eh?
