Open Mouth...Insert Foot

Yeah, I'm really getting good at the Open mouth, Insert foot thing.

Last Sunday I very UN- TACTFULLY  told someone their ex-wife had died (No, they were not aware) and then this week on the bus I thought someone's FIANCE was her SON! In my defense I had held that belief for several months so in my mind it was true lol! Thankfully I had just gifted this same lady with a Crazy Rebecca Original hat so how mad could she be? When they got off the bus me and the lady behind me had a good laugh about it. Whew! What next? I shudder to think of the faux pas I still have in store for myself.

Side note: the plural of faux pas is still faux pas you just say it differently. Wow.

1. Blogger is doing maintenance
2. I left my camera in the school library after the PTA meeting thus missing all sorts of photo ops at quilt guild today

My First Official OMG I Spaced my Blog OUT! 244/365

We went yard saling today and not finding anything, we went to the Arc on 19th. On the way to King Stupids on Centennial it hit me. I forgot to blog yesterday! OMG! How could I space that out? So so so very sorry.

WTH is up with the Freaking USPS!?! 120/365

 I went to mail a letter containing two knitting magazines, some knitting needles and some other stuff. Grand weight, 1 lb 3OZ...total cost to mail $8.10...Yeah I don't THINK SOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Solution...come home split it down into two large envelopes. One @ $2.58 one @ $2.24. You know they gripe coz people don't use their services then they stick it to you so bad you have to find alternative ways to get what you have to where it needs to go. This has caused me way too much stress.

Had a few minutes after church waiting for Jack. Clicked a few pictures. This one wasn't too bad. You can see the offending envelopes in my book bag. Grrrr.

Pulpit Rock 33/365

It took some doing but we finally found a way in to Pulpit Rock Park. We didn't walk all the way to the actual ROCK but we had a nice hike.

My hand is infected already :( It's no one's fault but my own for not wearing gloves. I had to call around to find a drawing salve for it. Ugh! Have you ever smelled that crap!?! And let me tell you, it's hard to knit, bead or sew with your right palm in searing pain. I think I'll go lay down and read for the rest of the day.
