I finally noticed a little dent in my stash. See where the yarn is disappearing? Yay! Now to work on that fabric above it. I'm thinking a nice Amish style quilt or two or five.

Baby Alpaca and Chenille Neck Gator 41/365

These are the yarns I used in the Kitty Hat.

I used a pattern from Barbara Walker's Second Treasury Book called Crystal and Pearl. One strand lace weight baby alpaca and one strand thin chenille carrier yarn. Nine faux pearl buttons complete the look lol.

Knit, knit, knit that's all I ever do and my stash does not seem to get any smaller. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

The Long Long Scarf Experiment 40/365

I pulled some yummy yarns from the infamous stash box here in my studio.Didn't know what I wanted but I cast on until the first piece of blue boucle yarn was used up. 165+ stitches give or take. I pulled out my trusty Barbara Walker Knitting Treasury book and found a lace pattern I liked.

I only ended up with enough yarn to go 7" wide but this sucker is 140" long with fringe! I love it!!!!!!

Now she can't say that anymore. I even adjusted the size after she tried the first one on.

I decided that 13 of my blocks would have flower clusters or bouquets. The remaining 12 are just seam treatments. So much work! My quilt guild meets Feb 16 and the speakers are presenting Antique Crazy quilts. I'd love to be able to show them something....Lots of pics today let them load

Still tweaking the 12 pt ball design. I am now thinking 6 rds between decreases is too much but the ball will be fine for two active little girls...Grandma Becky loves you!!!

Does anyone here play Zuma Blitz on facebook? I do. I'm not addicted I can quit anytime I want. Yeah uhm...anyway.

LadyK is my top competitor along with my daughter and son in law. She also plays guitar and knows a lot of the same people online that I do. She asked for a scarf with purples, blues and a touch of hot pink. I can do trhat! It's soooooooooooooooooooo pretty I want one for my self.

So here's something I am finding myself doing....I am making notes of which yarns I would really like to replace when I get to buy stuff again. Maybe I'll start a journal with samples n stuff. I like the purple fuzzy stuff in this scarf.

I had a book from the library about doing this covert yarn bombing activity. Imagine my surprise when I saw this on the stop sign a block from my house. Darn it I wanna do this!!!! I have to see if I can check that book out and recruit Leslie to help lol.
