It finally happened. Someone wanted a hat and insisted on buying the yarn for it.

It all worked out in the end. There was only about 5 inches of yarn left LOL! NO stash adding for me!

Sorting UFOs and Other Stuff 57/365

I pulled out the solid fabrics today to see what I had. Enough for (???) at least two nice sized quilt tops, maybe a double sided quilt would work. Also stashed in there were two nine patch wall quilt tops and some hand pieced monkey wrench blocks I got from the dreaded Put and Take Table at quilt guild last year.

Angelia's Doofy Hat 56/365

Angelia has been begging for a doofy hat for almost two years. I reckoned it was high time she got one.

Three strands of sport weight purple acrylic, one strand of shiny shiny thin metallic yarn in shades of lavenders, Black worsted weight acrylic with the metallic for tassels and by itself for the edging.

Went to knit at the Yarn Outlet. I managed to not buy yarn somehow. I did get a wee 12" circular needle to do a baby skully hat though. I didn't say I wasn't buying knitting needles....back off, lol!

Noah's Gifts (Skully hats rule!) 53/365

I told Noah Scalin (of Skull a Day fame) I had a hat for him. Well I wanted to wait until his 365 Journal book got here before I posted this...IT CAME TODAY!!!! So here's your hat and another wee skull giftie for you Noah. (I'm really sick because I missed getting a picture of a cool hand painted Truck with skulls on it Sunday. Would have been awesome on your blog)

Where the Guitar Lives 52/365

My guitar stays right here beside my desk where I can reach it. I learned a long time ago if it is put up in the case I won't remember to play it. This way I can play several times a day. Notice the lovely box of yarn propping it up and a bag of sock yarn behind it and  a paper bag full of completed items beside it. I hope my guitar isn't allergic to wool.

Trying to come up with gift ideas for my Granddaughters. Hard work. Exhausting. They don't need toys. They don't need clothes. Money is good but not necessarily spectacular enough unless it's 100$ bills, which I don't have sooooooooooo...

The Dreaded Put and Take Table at Quilt Guild 47/365

I passed a major test today at quilt guild. I only looked at the stuff on the table and I only reached out to touch one thing. I did not TAKE anything. I repeat I DID NOT TAKE ANYTHING!!!!

We had a wonderful presentation of antique crazy quilts.This was my favorite. It was made by one of the guild members' great grandmother.

I feel oddly inadequate.

Skully Hats for Holt's Niece and Nephew 46/365

I finally noticed a little dent in my stash. See where the yarn is disappearing? Yay! Now to work on that fabric above it. I'm thinking a nice Amish style quilt or two or five.
